We had never built a home before

We began looking at lots, googling home builders and making a list of the features that were important to us.

One day, we came across THE lot. When we saw it, we just knew. The location was perfect and we could imagine our home sitting in that exact spot. So we called the owner of the land, Knutson Homes, and that’s when things got real.

Before we knew it, we owned land.

What amazed us is how they handled all our questions with ease

My husband and I felt as though we now had a team of people helping us move toward our dream. Of course, we had also Googled them and asked around to find they were a long-time builder in the Bismarck/Mandan area who had a reputation of building only exceptional homes. Easy choice.

They are both extremely intelligent, good at what they do, they know the business, the codes, the processes and the timelines well. We ended up laughing a lot. And we ended up thinking of them as artists or craftsmen – building something beautiful for two people who had been dreaming about this house for many years.

In the end, we handed our fears over to the experts – the craftsmen – who have built hundreds of homes, understand every aspect of the process, and really love making people happy.

We’ve been in our home for more than three years and couldn’t be more pleased with the quality, the attention to detail, the flexibility they showed, and their creativity in solving any issues that came up.
